I would like to be able to block all youtube websites. Pretty much any url path that includes youtube. We have Watchguard. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this. Obviously there are other ways of getting there than by just typing www.youtube.com.

If you have webblocker enabled then you can find the category in which youtube is listed and block the entire category or you can add webblocker exceptions: denied exceptions and put youtube website there with URL; firebox would do DNS lookup and save IP and would prevent traffic from flowing to those IP address.

If you don't have webblocker license, then you can create a HTTP service and configure as below:
Incoming Disabled
Outgoing Enabled and Denied; from Any; to public-ip-address-of-youtube-website

If there are multiple IP addresses you would need to add all; if you want to block more traffic than the HTTP traffic then you can create a custom service to block traffic or even ANY Service; the service would be configure same as above in all cases [Barring ANY in which ANY keyword cannot be used; so you can use Trusted in place of Any for "from"].

Please note: You might need to keep a track if the IP address changes and add more IP address if the domain gets more IP/changes IP for complete protection.

Please implement and update.

Thank you.
