remote desktop protocol error...

hello,

i had remote desktop up and running on a vista PC and then all of a sardine i got this:

"because of a protocol error detected at the client (code 0x1104), this session will be disconnected.
please try connecting to the remote computer again"

pls help!

Are you receiving the error on the vista machine connecting to a terminal server?  Or are you receiving this error when connecting to the Vista PC?

Make sure you are not doing this through a VPN.  If the address range are the same on the two networks you will get this error.

i had 2 pc's set up which i could access on the local subnet and from home.

now i cannot access them from either location...

however, i can use them both as a client to view other computers locally and externally...
