Exchange 2003 - Outlook Cached Mode - Additional PST's

I have a user that has 2 additional PST files that they want to keep around just for reference - I added them to the users' Outlook profile - when I started up Outlook - it was starting to import data from the 2 additional PST's into their Mailbox.

This is/was not the desired result.  Is there a way to make sure the additional PST files do not sync?

Shouldn't have done that automatically.
Is this SBS? That might do it. However I have never seen Outlook do that on its own. How did you add the PST files to Outlook?

Through the profile - from mail in control panel > data tab - just like you would any other PST...

I changed it to non-cached mode - works as you think it would - just references the PST as a personal folder in outlook.

After I added the PST (while in cached mode) - I was watching the lower left corner and I seen the notation stating that it was syncing xxx folder.  I looked up into the main/primary part for the mailbox and seen where the folders from the PST were copied up.
