PS3 + Wireless

My son wants a PS3 with the wireless connection built in, the problem is these are out of stock. He plays on the second floor of the house, the problem is the standard PS3 only comes with an ethernet connection. I have a wireless router, is there anything I can do to stop me having a cable going all the way from the top floor to the bottom. ie the wireless router beams to an access point on the top floor and that has a cable from that to the ps3. Not even sure if that is possible or what is needed. Any helpy would be good

Would that pick up the signal from the router on the ground floor?
yeah, you should be ok with that out of the box.  If you really want to ensure a good connection look into getting a high gain antenna for your router.
Forced accept.
