Hi,

We are having issues with sending emails.
We are sending mail using ASP code, it works most of time but some times it gives the following error:

Persits.MailSender.4 error '800a0019'
Software caused connect abort.
/paintnew/gnk_persistsemail_script.asp, line 144

The same code works after some time with the same email content, so it should not be a problem with the email content/size.

Also some times mails are not sent immediately.

Any idea of what should we do?

Thanks, Assaf

I'm guessing line 144 is where the email is sent.  This issue might be a failed connection to the email server (if you're using an outside smtp server).

Maybe you should try sending the email using built in asp methods rather than the code you're using: http://www.w3schools.com/asp/asp_send_email.asp
