hi i have an app which requires sending any email address to sendmail to be relayed to a mailserver, when i get to the MAIL FROM part if i put MAILFROM :<user> i get sender ok and the address in the mail is user@boxname.boxdomain if I put what i need which is MAIL FROM :<anyuser@anydomain> i get the message "Domain of sender address anyuser@anydomain does not exist" if i try this on my AIX boxes or solaris it just takes the address and relays it on, please could someone help me to take the checking off.

Thanks

uncomment the following line in /etc/mail/sendmail.mc
FEATURE(`accept_unresolvable_domains')

http://www.sendmail.org/doc/sendmail-current/cf/README

Do not forget to run make in /etc/mail/ and restart sendmail.
