SCSI drive ST373307LC does not recognized
I bought a almost new SCSI drive seagate ST373307LC, and found sector errors from SCSI controller. I entered to Controller menu and tried to format it. But it fails with an error. And downloaded SeaTools for DOS, booted from the CD, the disk is not registered from this tool. Know someone any dos disk rescue tools, so that at least the disk shows when dos SeaTools booted?
Is the drive detected in bios correct in size?
ASKER
yes it shows 80gb. Instead of 76gb.
Can you follow this procedure:

It has a adaptec SCSI controller and while media verfiy show "04h hardware error"
4H Hardware error. The drive detected a non-recoverable hardware failure while performing the command or during a self-test. This includes, for example, SCSI interface parity errors, controller failures and device failures.
Try update firmware for scsi controller card first, then try again.
