Removing Particular update from SMS 2003 Software Update Service

I have an update that SMS is continually trying to install on my client machines that is failing. It attempts to install this update everyday at 5pm and dominates the CPU. I need to deactivate this particular update from being offered by SMS. How can I go about this?

in SUS you can set the update dispatch policy on approve before apply on clients, SMS doesn't have the same setting?
