Programatically Controlling Adobe Illustrator on Web Server

We have a need to edit Adobe Illustrator documents on a web server by adding Images & text & then saving the document so it can be later downloaded & printed.

See the sample URL for an example of an illustrator document (the image is a jpg created from an Illustrator document in this example)

Is there a way to control Adobe Illustrator programatically from php or any other web server language?

No can not be done.
You could probably get a pdf done in that format using php but you can not edit ai files.
