I'm creating this website and the type (styled with css) looks bold. The first line of the text is supposed to be bold and then the rest of the paragraph is supposed to be light. any ideas?

When I view the page, I see some words in bold, then the rest is normal.

Do you have the Myriad Pro font installed on the computer you are using to view the page, both in normal and bold versions?

I wouldn't recommend using such an unusual font for a web page. Most of your visitors will not have it installed, so they will se the page with a different font. If you really want to use that font, you should specify some alternative fonts for users that don't have it, like:

font-family: "Myriad Pro", "Myriad Pro Bold", "Myriad Pro Semibold", Tahoma, Helvetica, sans-serif;

The last one, sans-serif, is a generic font specified in css. It is recommended that you always use one of them as the last alternative when specifying font face.
