I have just started a website, you can see it here:  http://hamishdeam.webng.com/
I do plan to get a domain name for it at some stage. Anyway if you click onto it you will see two things

[1] A bold letter which read's "about", in bold lettering.

[2] A few word's saying when the website was last updated, on the left.

If you look to the left on the "about" and above the "website was last updated..." you will see a nice blank space, just right for a picture. What I need someone tell me the code to put an image there, by the way I have my images on photo bucket. If you could give us the code which give's the option to change width and height that would be really great.  I have provided you with the code that makes my website up.
Feel free to put the required code in the right place and post back with the new lot of code.

Thanks - The code that makes up my site is below, Good Luck

Hi There. Thanks for visiting my website. This website started off a

little project I would play around with in my spare time, but now I am kinda use to HTML

codes, Its more interesting. Anyway I am a student in the country of New Zealand and I

attend Timaru Boy's High School. Timaru Boy's High School is one of the more well known

schools in South Canterbury. South Canterbury itself is a very rich farming region which

is home to alot of small towns and city's, much like Temuka. On this website you might

find thing's I have (or haven't) been up to. I plan to put quite a few pictures on here

of local places and surrounding places for the world to see. Anyway, have a look around

and make your self at home

In New Zealand we have just had guyfawkes. I came back from the shop with six boxes, yes six. The boxes were all the same so I just opened one, I opened up the pack of sparklers. In New Zealand our Govt. thinks "Sparkler Bomb's" are dangerous, so they have only allowed sparkler's in that have the tip's coated with something that doesn't catch fire. This is supposed to stop the sparkler bomb from working, what they didn't think of is this liquid heats up when the bomb starts and just starts normal ignition sequence anyway. At least they made the effort though. The rest of the firework's didn't have stupid "safety protection" ideas on them, even though I'm almost certain that a "Sparkler Bomb" doesn't really do much harm, If done right. A "Sparkler Bomb" is just a bunch of sparkler's, like 20, with tape wrapped around them and one sticking out the top as a fuse. When you light the fuse, it burns down and starts the rest, the sparkers can't sparler out the side so it just goes up the top, usually up to eight foot, which looks quite cool. If it is done in an open stop, with no material which can catch fire around, I think they are quite safe, as long as everyone is standing at least twenty feet back. They good thing about "Sparkler Bomb's" is unlike other fire works once the fuse is lite, you have at least thirty second's to get back. Anyway, please don't go making these.

I was looking around some forum the other day on the Internet and I found a windows hate page, you know. Everybody that submitted a message had at the end "get a Mac" or "get Linux", or something like that. People there also kept going on about how Windows crashes and doesn't support hardware etc... I have had Linux (Ubuntu) installed on my good computer and my printer didn't work with it, but It did on Windows. Funny that. On some website some guy was writing about how his sisters computer is a Mac, and every time she buys something for it, he has to explain that it won't work with it, because it's a Mac. While writing this I just remembered that I just spend around one hour trying to get my new wireless mouse to work with this stupid Compaq. I don't think it was the computers fault though. Anyway people are always say get a Mac, they have no viruses you know? Ok. People say Mac's are so secure is because they run on an code that is rather old. And when a threat is found for a Mac, it's fixed pretty quickly. Ok, Let's say everyone switched over to Mac's. When hacker's do find a flaw in mac and finally make the code for a Mac virus, at the rate virus would be coming in and hacker's would be making new ones, the patches that they release for security flaws would not be done quick enough. Then everybody's computer's would crash and the Internet as it's known would come to a halt. Why not use an operating system that already has the odd security flaw? By using a Mac you can't be safe forever. Why not face a bit of the world now instead of waiting a few years? I was on youtube the other day and was watching one of those Mac T.V ad's they make with the PC guy on the left and the Mac guy on the right. What the ad says at the end is there are "114,000 viruses for Windows Computer's" I'm not sure if that figure is right but it was a ^&*% load of viruses. WOW, am I supposed to be scared by that figure or something? Out of all those viruses, most, if not all have been identified and added to the list of virus definitions. I don't know why Mac try to use silly advertising,It might be the best they've got.
I run Windows on all of my computers, XP mostly. As for Mac suggesting the computer's running Windows freeze or crash, I can't remember the last time my main computer froze or crashed, I've had that one for over two years as well. I like those Mac ad's they are quite funny. At least Mac make good T.V ad's, thats something they have done right, Hint.

Hey, try this website. I think it should be very helpful for you.  http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp

The basic tag is
<img src="http://photobucketwebsite.net/directory_to_your/picturefile.gif" alt="Alternate Text if an Image is not displayed on older browsers" height=#PIXELSYOUWANTpx/>

<img src="your.url.com/image1.jpg" height="100" width="100" border=0> src= is where your put your url of the photo you want to link to, height= will allow you to define the height of your image, and width= will allow you to define the width of your picture. border=0 will prevent it from putting a border around your picture. if you want a border around it you can increase the number and it will thicken the border.
