importing mail for a pop3 account into sbs 2003

hi everyone,
I have a customer that has just moved over to sbs 2003 and he is using two email addrssses

his original one is gmail  and his new one based oin his domain name   @domainname.com

can i sone how combine th two into the exchange so he receives all his mail fomr gmail., then when he semd its with his new email address user@domainname.com

the reaso I ask this is because, he does not want to send an email to everyone bit alos to import all his mail for gmail to the exchange server, and not his outlook on his deskop

can anyone help?

Sure.  No problem at all.

I'm assuming that you've configured Exchange to receive email for domainname.com.  All you have to do then is to also configure the Exchange POP3 Connector to retreive his GMail messages and deliver them to his Exchange Mailbox.

You can do this in the Server Management Console > Internet and Email Snap-in > Manage Pop3 E-mail.

By default all outgoing messages will be from his new domainname.com account.
