Pop-up window in jsp using struts <html:link tag

Hello,

I need to pop-up a window, when the user clicks on link. I wanted to use the <html:link> tag from struts library.

Say the, the link name is Edit. When the user clicks on the edit link a small pop-up window with few form fields with pre-filled data and submit button should pop-up.

Can anybody provide me with a good solution? In advance, I appreciate your help.

Thanks--

The HTML to create a popup window from a link is:

<a target="_blank" href="/myfile.jsp">Popup Window</a>

You can use target="_blank" in html:link tags.

I'm sorry. Actually, what I meant by pop-up is a small dialog box kind of thing. Not exactly a complete browser window using target="_blank" in the <html:link>. I'm looking for some javascript solution in jsp page using struts framework.

Anyways, I appreciate for your quick reply.

Thanks--

We don't integrate Javascript with Struts -- we just use Javascript in our display pages.  You might try AjaxTags:
http://ajaxtags.sourceforge.net/index.html

or the Struts menu tag lib (since menus are essentially popovers, which is what I now assume you're looking for):
http://struts-menu.sourceforge.net/
