Hello,

When using svn+ssh is there a way to add the password while running the "svn checkout" command? Currently from what I picked up we have to enter the password each time we checkout from the repository. This isn't much of a problem, however we have a PHP shell script that works with the HTTP protocol, however we want it change to work with svn+ssh for security. Problem is we don't want to be asked the password each time when running the command with the shell script.

Any information regarding the matter would be great.

Thank you

I'm not sure about svn, but I am guessing that it uses the logged in user name.  The easiest way to solve your problem would be to use ssh keys to identify the user, using ssh-agent on linux and PuTTY Pageant on Windows.  Then no password is needed.
