Hello!
We run a 2003 server as terminal server, with about 20 people logging on to it.  This morning I have several users complaining of a go-slow.  I log on as administrator from here (head office is 30 miles away from site) and see a small error message complaining about Run Time error '52' .  the error box has the works wcTrace in the blue bar at the top.
The only option is to click OK, and it goes away.  If I double click windows explorer (or any folder for that matter) the same error message pings up.  Only when i click ok does the requested folder open.
Can anyone shed any light? Let me know what extra info you might need...

Hi thanks for the link... looking up error 52 it says
>Program error, verify the program has all the latest updates. If updated try reinstalling the program. If >you continue to have the same errors contact the software developer.

this happens with explorer, so would you suggest running windows update? does the "wcTrace" that appears on the header of the error message ring a bell?
