I am leaving for an extended vacation and would like to avoid having my out of office be sent as a reply to all the members of a large List Serve (I still want it to work for everyone else). Help with creating a rule for this?

a) If you have a list of the mailing lists from which you receive messages, you can create a rule with the Out of Office Assistant (click Add Rule) that searches for those sending addresses and reacts according to your wishes: send a custom OOO response, send no response, etc. How to use the Out of Office Assistant in Outlook: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290846

b) This page suggest setting up the rule manually and telling it to only apply to messages that are sent directly to you: http://www.parisc-linux.org/mailing-lists/outlookooo.html

Wod,

I tried #1 before and I could not get it to work right. Question: If you have text in the "AutoReply only once to each sender with the following text" text box does that override other rules?
