it is already there ... (in the index.php file)... it was working earlier.. i just reinstalled the server and again made all the configs... even live site it works well..

we've some problem in the existing unicode portal which is configured in our local server (REDHAT LINUX)... now the problem is unicode texts are not displaying properly. i.e it displays something different.... also the browser encoding is not selected as it should be &quot;UTF-8&quot; ... it is set in all the pages charset=utf-8 to support the encodeing...<br />

when i force to choose the UTF-8 encoding, it displays well... why as default the encoding is not selected to the portal.. as it will solve the displaying unicode texts properly....<br />

what should i do?<br />
