Hi Mansol

You can see some free components here :

My favorite (its free) is :

and :
(Check the left panel "TAdvGlowButton")

Hope this helps.

Both look good but what I need is a button with bevel and the ability to set color. I didn't download Alpha but it looks like it is a skin tpe of control that sets the same colour to every button on the screen.

I am designing a POS system that needs different coloured buttons on the screen. I am currently using woll2wolls tfcShapebutton but this is limited to flat buttons for colour.

personally I'd use a TPanel (for the colour and the bevel) and a timage on it (for the graphic) and a TLabel with "transparent := true" and "wordwrap := true"
Set the panel, image, and labe;'s OnClick event to the same event and you're done...
all 100% native code with full source
just my 2c :-)

I have used routines developed by Leif Bruder with success.  This is the first few lines from the pas file:-

LbButtons Suite - Two new buttons for Delphi!

This file is part of LbButtons Suite.

Not sure where I downloaded this from - maybe Torry.

Raize components buttons that allow colour don't allow bevel control
I really liked the idea of the tPanel with embedded image. however this suffers from the problem that all panel based components do and that is slow processing of the on click event. This maes it unusable in a point of sales application.

The lbButtons suite looks like it will meet most of my requirements with limited beven control but some nice looking buttons. I am going to test this next few days.

Thanks for all the help so far.
