Hi!

Our marketing department runs an ftp in read-only mode for clients. recently I've been asked to allow write access for a certain client. I've created a disk quota for this client after adding specific account into AD. Are there any better ideas for managing FTP access on IIS? Are there any workarounds for setting limitations on ftp folder, scripts, add-ons, etc are most welcomed. Thanks in advance!!!

If you are referring to access rights, ACL  is quite good in giving you the security control on your root FTP folder.

First, create a security group in AD then add the required members in this group.
Second, from the FTP root folder or subfolders, right click that folder and select properties add your security group and give it the required permission.

Probably, give all users the read access first of the FTP root folder, then control the security tightly on specific folder subfolders.

Thank you! I'm interested both in security and folder / upload size limitation. I wish to limit user upload certain types of files and set the maximum file size.
