Hi,
I just purchased a HP All in One F2110 and I am trying to scan a document to text using the provided OCR software. I choose the method of scanning it to .txt to notepad but it is not capturing all of the text. It captures maybe 20% of the document. I have never done this before. Am I doing something wrong? Are there better options, Ive seen some use Acrobat. Im basically trying to scan the document so that I can search (ctrl F) the document for what I am looing for.
Thanks in advance!

make sure your document is in good condition, make sure the scanner is scanning it in black and white or grey scale - if the scanning program has the ability to change contrast and brightness make sure the preview scan the text is crisp and legible then try and see if it will work. that is most the time the issues that will cause it to not scan right and the txt not convert

Yes, Thank you. It was the condition of the document.
