Outlook 2000 error

Im using Outlook 2000 SR-1 on XP sp2. i have just added my users mailbox, which seems to be fine except when outlook is started or when the user clicks on the inbox, an error comes up:

"The view is damaged. Default view settings will be used"

How do i fix this? thanks
