Friend of mine said that there is a software from IBM that will allow you to monitor your IBM server from a remote comuter, it would tell you the status and overall healrth fo the system, HDDs, etc. Would any one know where I can locate that software on IBM's website? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi

I would agree with Inkevin. This information from the IBM Director page makes it even more attractive; "IBM Director is provided at no additional charge for use on IBM Systems."

If you are looking for a product for remote helpdesk capabilities,
I think you'd find this product quite useful: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/tivoli/products/remote-control/

Hope this helps.
