We are trying to use SQL Mail to automatically generate emails.  The components is working, however, we are running into an issue concerning the body limit of 8000 characters.  Is there a way to increase this limit, or is there a workaround that might be helpful?

are you using SQL Mail (ie xp_sendmail)? then, you are limited to 8000:

if you want more than that, you have to use some other (third-party) tools to send the mail via SMTP...
