How to Migrate Earthlink Total Access mail to OE 6

I have a client who is moving from Earthlink to Roadrunner. She is currently using Earthlink Total Access email management program (Outlook Express clone) and wants to migrate the mail and associated folders to Outlook Express 6.0. I was able to import the conatcts with no problem but I am stumped on how to move the mail and folders.

When I export out of Earthlink the two choices a have for mail files are .csv and .dat. When I attempted to import into OE I did not see either of the two as choices. Anyone have a fix for this?

Hello flteng56,

Total Access uses an email client called MailBox, and a better version of that is available as a
standalone product from Earthlink. It imports email from Total Access
just fine.
http://www.earthlink.net/software/nmfree/mailbox/

Use IMAP server MailTraq on Windows XP, synch it with Earthlink Mailbox, and then synched it with Outlook Express.

Hope this helps!

flteng56,

You can use Amber Outlook Converter to convert Earthlink Total Access to Microsoft Outlook
http://www.processtext.com/abcoutlk.html

Then you can convert from Outlook to Outlook Express.
