i just upgraded to 4.2 yesterday.

i moved over, through media manager, a couple of wav files. when i open them, i get this:
unable to display file /device memory/home/user/ringtones/message.wav

when i try to play it from an email, i get "unknown error"

just to verify, shouldn't i be able to play a wav file on my verizon 8703e with software version 4.2?

ideas?

Hello bschwarting,

I don't believe you can play wav files.  Even though the default ringers that came pre=loaded on your phone are "wavs", the phone does not support adding other wav files.

Sorry!
