When I use a specific cartridge. I have the error message &quot;&nbsp;Please mount one of the following media in device group<br />
1.&lt;BLANK&gt;&quot;<br />
<br />
The cartridge has been fully erased (long) then formated and added to the group &quot;save set&quot; but I still have this message.<br />
<br />
Note that we don't have this message with other cartridge (same model).<br />
<br />
Is the cartridge corrupted ?<br />

The cartridge has been fully erased (long) then formated and added to the group "save set" but I still have this message.

Note that we don't have this message with other cartridge (same model).

DLT tape corrupted ?

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud). "Restore" in turn means the methods and processes involved in data recovery, i. e., bringing back copied computer data to their original location.
