I am confused on how Enforce Password policy is affected by Reset Password in Server 2003 and XP

Let me know if I have this right.  If am a user and my password is Pass01 and  I am asked to change my password.  If Enforce Password is set to two.  Let assume there is no minimum password age.

Question One
Then do I have to come up with two other distinct passwords before I can reuse Pass01?

Question Two
If the Administrator resets my password by going to Active directory and right clicking the user and selecting Reset Password  to an temp password like Passw0rd.
If want to reset the password to Pass01 - can I do it? or does Pass01 get included as a previously used password

Please explain - TIA - TOMG
