NAS backup fails

I have ARCSERVE 11.5 installed and the tape library is connected to the EMC Celerra Nas Filer, when we try to run a backup it gives the following Error "e8535 failed to connect to agent and also in the NAsagent.log we see the error NDMPbackup setfailed=7

Normally E8535 errors are more or connectivity timeout errors.
Please make the changes as recomended on this CA article
