Auto redirect to login page

I have a page that I have set as my Start Page.

When I try to go to that page, and I am not logged-in, I get redirected to a Login page.

I don't remember anymore how I set this up, or how it knows to go to this Login page.  There's nothing in Page_Load or Page_Init that checks the logged in status.

are you using any login controls ? if yes then may be you have set in the properties.

Not sure I am understanding.

There are no login controls on the page in question  (meaning, the page that I set as my Startup page has no login controls on it).  It knows nothing about the Login page.

have you seen anything in the web.config ?
its really difficult to help you since have no clue what your application looks like.

That was the problem.  I had forgotten to create a web.config file in that directory, so no authentication rules were being enforced, including a redirect if you are not logged-in.
