The system cannot log you on due to the following error: not enough storage is available to process this command
On a Domain controller I get this error and cannot login
I've tryed twiking the IRPStackSize parameter with no luck. This server is one of two domain controllers in the domain

How big is the OS partition?
ASKER
12Gb and has 6GB available, it is not a space problem
Does it have WSUS and if so where are the updates stored?
ASKER
This server does not run WSUS, it is one of to DC on a domain
The storage they are talking about appears to be memory.
The research I came up with recommended stoping all unnecessary processes, working on the paging system, increasing the amount of RAM, and/or working on stopping terminate-and-stay resident or startup processes.

Don't think so, server has 8GB of ram. Plus, remember this is when I try to loggin, and this server is the backup of another with exactly the same configuration and running the same proceses, but without any issues
Definately doesn't look like an easy fix. Do you have a DCdiag, netdiag, event logs that might be able to provide a event it and especially the source of the problem. Once we have th source, we might be able to narrow down the problem
With that said, I am thinking your netlogon service is having problems.
ASKER
you mean like corrupt ? I can boot in safemode and look at the logs, but I don't see anything unsual other than the normal errors from services that cannot comeup in safemode
Not corrupt, just the NIC card being overused and the Netlogon service is being paused, or shut down.
Event logs, DCdiag reports, or Netdiag reports should shed some light on the subject.
