Need to setup a mail gateway to send email to another network.<br />

LAN (Exchnage 2007) &nbsp;- Firewall &lt;smtp relay\content filtering&gt; - Firewall - External. Look right?<br />

Want my internal email to be translated to a different alias when sent externally and vice versa when coming back in. Should this happen at the SMTP relay or exchnage box? Whats the best method?<br />

Would the SMTP relay be the firewall..just forward on smtp? Or a specilaist device. Thinking of mailsweeper for content filtering.<br />

I see cyberguard firewall acts as an smtp proxy, how is this different from a smtp relay?<br />

Exchange is the server side of a collaborative application product that is part of the Microsoft Server infrastructure. Exchange's major features include email, calendaring, contacts and tasks, support for mobile and web-based access to information, and support for data storage.
