Javascript to convert minutes to seconds

Last Modified: 2013-11-19
I have a form (ASP/VB) which has a field that displays minutes, it is formated with a JS to do so but the value in the database is actually seconds. I need to add a 'hidden field' so that when used clicks on the submitt button the value they enter in 'minutes' on field 'timespent' is converted into seconds and copied over to the hidden field named 'timespentsecs' so that when the form updates the database the value will be that of the hidden field in seconds.

I guess I need a javascript that will convert the minutes into seconds and copy them over to the hidden field when the 'submit' button is clicked on.
