Setting permissions on multiple folders
How do you set permissions on multiple exchange public folders? I'm running SBS 2003 with Exchange SP2.
My client has main folders named for the year with sub folders for each job number. It looks something like this:
2005
0501
0502
0503
2006
0601
0602
0603
2007
0701
0702
etc.
The job subfolders number easily 200 in each year main folder. I'm trying to set the same permissions on all the folders... a few folks have full rights and everyone else has limited rights. I try to set permissions on the main folders (2005, 2006, and 2007) hoping that the sub-folders will inherit the permission changes, but this doesn't happen. I can't seem to highlight more than one folder either. Is there a way I can define permissions for multiple folders?
This problem stems from this client loosing his exchange server from an OS crash, so he bought a new server. I extracted the data from the old databases and loaded them up on the public folders on the new server. Now all the permissions need work.
