STOP 0X00000050 during server 2000 to server 2003 upgrade - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

HI Guys,

I am trying to do an upgrade from windows 2000 /sp4 to Server 2003. All goes well until the second reboot and I get a BSOD - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA stop 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFFE8, 0x0000001, 0x804F0C24, 0x0000000)

The motherboard is an Asus P4S8X-MX with 2 sata drives raided. I downloaded the win2k3 raid driver and installed it at the F6 prompt. It has a 3gig Pentium D with 2gb of Ram

Any thought or help would be most appreciated as I am supposed to have this done by tonight <ugh>

Regards,

Neil

After some digging I found the box had originally been an nt4 install, and there was a possibility it was even an original nt3.51 set up. So with all the various upgrades over the years of both software and hardware,  the chance of something not right in the registry coming forward was very high.
