Hi,

I have an object that I initialize many times in my web app. This object holds a large amount of user details.
The object is populated with details retrieved from the db.

Sometimes just specific details will want to be displayed. Is it better to create a new object based on say just name/address or to just use my existing object and not set the fields that I am not interested in.

Thanks

if it doesn't actually change then best would be to just populate it once and storing it in application/session context.
o/wise use existing object where possible to minimise db access
