Sprint Spooler useing large amounts of Virtual Memory

The service spoolsv.exe over time will take a large amount of virtual memory( 500 MB)  I end up restarting the service every two days.  I currently have SBS 2003.  When I login to the console I get "The Sprint Spooler was unable to connect to your printer.  This can be caused by the printer being turned off, unplugged or being connected to VPN, which will block you access to your local network" any ideas?

-I have deleted all printer and reinstalled them on the server
-We turn off out main printer at night

I will give this a try but it will take me a bit to get back to you.  Currently we have 6 printers running through the server.  I also have Terminal Services running on another box.
