I have a member that is having frequent drops in their connection. They are connected using a modem, but the phone line is also connected to a fax machine, and credit card machine. I have had this before and I had to do a straight connect from the fax with nothing conencted to that and the other connecters on the phone line with a splitter. I just want to check to see if anyone else has ever ran into this, and if so, I know there is an external box that will allow for several connections, but I'm not sure of what it is called. Any ideas of what needs to be done or what the box is called? Thanks.
