I would expect that it can restore what has been backed up.<br />
<br />
I would also look into an alternate solution, that may be a little more user friendly.<br />

I found that the previous admin was using VSSADMIN to do back ups of data so that he could restore data that was accidentally deleted. Here is the string of text from the scheduled job:<br />
