Dell USB keyboard RT7D50 - where can I find driverfor Win98SE

I intend to use a USB KVM switch to use one set of USB mouse/keyboard to control two computers, one running XPPRO and one Win98SE.  The USB keyboard is Dell SK-8115 (which I think is the same as RT7D50) and the mouse is also a standard modern Dell wheel mouse

I need to find Win98SE drivers for the mouse/keyboard but can not find them anywhere.

Hello scottdorsey

Thanks for your suggestion. I could work round having no hotkeys as the Win98SE is an old "backup" system.

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I install it as a standard keyboard? At the moment Win98SE recognises the USB keyboard as New Hardware and demands a driver.

I would try USB Female to PS/2 Male Adapter Converter like this one:

Thanks for your suggestion, Zee.

The KVM switch has only one USB connector going to the Win98 machine (incorporating both mouse and KB) so I cannot use the workaround you suggest.

I have meanwhile managed to install the KB and mouse using standard Win98SE HID drivers and this seems to work for the moment.
It took a long time for me to establish how to install the KB & mouse as standard. After hours of searching the web I finally found the standard HID drivers on my Win98Se CD-ROM.
