How do we migrate our Active Directory Structure from Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2003 Server R2
We purchased a new Server to replace our old one.
Migrating the Active Directory is our greatest challenge and we are seeking step by step instructions to migrate the Active Directory to the new Server with minimal or no down time.
CURRENT SERVER
windows 2000 server sp 4
- Domain Controller
- DNS
- DHCP
- File and Print Server.
- Users sync with their home folders
************************** ******
NEW SERVER
windows 2003 Server r2
- Domain Controller
- DNS
- DHCP
- File and Print Server.
- Users sync with their home folders
We are seeking a few methods as options for migrating.
Our Topology is: MODEM -> LINKSYS ROUTER (BEFSX41) -> SWITCH -> SERVER AND CLIENTS
