MS Outlook 2007 signature -- How prevent insertion of blank line? (& change insertion point?)

dgrrr asked
Last Modified: 2012-05-10
In MIcrosoft Outlook 2007, I created a signature that begins with a photo, on the very first line.

But when we create a new message, Outlook inserts a blank line or 2 at the top, ABOVE the photo, to allow a place for me to type.

I have already provided that blank line BELOW my picture. (In the middle of the signature)

(1) Can I prevent Outlook from inserting the blank line above the signature in a new message?

(2) when I toggle into the message body, can I have the insertion point automatically go to a spot UNDER my signature picture, instead of above it?

Thanks, I understand even finding out that something cannot be done, can take a lot of work. I appreciate it.

The question is only half answered. I came to this question because my Outlook 2003 inserts two blank lines before BEFORE the small JPG-banner that is part of the signature. Very annoying. How to avoid these 2 carriage returns?
Well, if "it can't be done" is considered a solution, I am glad I am not a paying user of this community!!
So... let me get this straight.  If someone posts a question like "I found an old 386 PC in my closet, can I install Windows 7 on it?"  it wouldn't be acceptable to answer, "No, it can't be done." Someone would need to find a way to do it??  Your logic is flawed, sir.
The fault lines with EE for showing this topic as "solved."   You have provided an acceptable "answer."  However it is not a solution.  The problem has not been solved - i.e. he still has the 2 lines added before his signature file...
