Hello,

I'm trying to load a values and strings into a dropdown listbox, but so far I'm only able to add the strings.  In other words, if I want all 50 states in a dropdown, I want each state to have the value of 1 to 50 assigned to it respectively.

What works now is this:

                lstGivers.Items.Add("");
                foreach (DataRow thisRow in thisDataTable.Rows)
                {
                    lstGivers.Items.Add(thisRow["Name"].ToString());
                }

I attempted the code below, but couldn't get it to work:

                foreach (DataRow thisRow in thisDataTable.Rows)
                {
                    thisItem.Value = thisRow["ID"].ToString();
                    thisItem.Text = thisRow["Name"].ToString();
                    lstRecipients.lstGivers.Items.Add(thisItem);
                }

What am I missing?
