Is there a way to format output from a batch file?  I have a logon script that records the username and date/time and writes it to a txt file:
"echo %USERNAME%,%DATE%,%TIME% > log.txt"

Is there a way to insert tabs in between these variables instead of commas?

(i.e. in place of the comma, just hit the tab key)
