How to handle timestamp in Firebird

rmmarsh asked
Last Modified: 2012-05-05
I have a field in a Firebird database that is of type *timestamp*.  How to I get the DateTime.Now() result into that field?  (in MS SQL Server Express I just converted it to a string and the server took it)...

And I would really, really like to know where the Firebird docs are for this type of question...

Thanks for the help in advance...

Hmmm... that was what I was doing... and I get this error:

ex = {"conversion error from string \"12/17/2007 8:21:09 AM\""}

Do you see anything wrong with it?
Try it in this format
'1991-03-04 00:00:00'

I figured it out... need a format string like "yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss"
