RAID5 - Failed RAID status - discarded by Controller yet fully functional HDDs
Have a RAID5 consisting of 3 drives. Two of them were put into non operational state by Adaptec AAR-2610SA Controller at almost the same moment. Controller didn't even take hot spare drive into a rebuild process as it immediately found the array to be failed. Now array status is "failed". I have checked the drives aside a server. They are in a perfect working condition state.
Is there a way to put the array back into an operational "optimal" state without loosing data that are on the drives.

Assuming these are hot swap drives, have you removed and reseated 1 of the failed drives to see if it is recognised?
