Project was put my way. Using old server (MS 2003) that does not have original CD, but is better than the present MS 2000 server, demote it using dcpromo, and create new domain.  Doing so, and demoting server, upon reboot get blue screen with stop error message 0x0000008e after logging in as administrator. Owner does not have Original CD or I would start from scratch. Note: It does allow to come up in safe mode
