Actually, it loads from the web. It is only locally that I get that error.

Ah.. thats it, the security setting. I looked up security and found an explanation in Adobe Documents. &nbsp;Test movie did work, but Publish Preview didn't. &nbsp;When I changed security, that worked.

I am creating a Flash document that is also loading a swf file. &nbsp;I have a preloader, then when it gets to the swf file it says &quot;cannot open a protected movie&quot; - This is odd, because I created the SWF file, and I did not &quot;protect from import.&quot; &nbsp;<br />

I am creating a Flash document that is also loading a swf file.  I have a preloader, then when it gets to the swf file it says "cannot open a protected movie" - This is odd, because I created the SWF file, and I did not "protect from import."  

I am using the loadMovie function, which  I have used before.  It seems to work in Test Movie mode, but not in preview.
