HELO/ EHLO domain invalid error on Exchange 2003 server

How do I fix a HELO/ EHLO domain invalid error on Exchange 2003 server.  The message said that my message was blocked because the Helo/ Ehlo domain is invalid...My ISP has an A record in their dns that points to my domain.  There is also a reverse ptr. Any ideas...

Have you checked your firewall or antispam filter?

Ok just a little help...What am I checking for specifically...Mail goes out and comes back to as normal for 90 to 95 percent of the recipients I send to ...Just this new one that has come up recently...is giving me a problem....
Does your ISP also have an MX record pointing at the Exchange server?

You also might want to look at disabling the anti-virus/anti-spyware software on the server, just in case.
my external FQDN is simmspc.com however internally, my domain is simmspc.local...It has not been a problem up until now...
