How to find out if DC is global catalog server

Hi... We have 3 DC's in a domain and I want to demote one of them as I don't even know why it was promoted in the first place. I ran dcpromo and it came up saying it was a global catalog server and I should make sure there is another global catalog server in the domain before demoting it. How do I find out if a server is a global catalog server? And if I don't have another one, can I move the global catalog server to another DC?

To find out if your Active directory server is configured to be a global catalog:
1.) Select Start Menu > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Sites and Services.
2.) Expand the Sites tree view in the left pane to find the name of your Active Directory server.
3.) Right-click the NTDS Settings for your Active Directory server and look at the Properties. If the Global
Catalog check box is selected, the Active Directory server is configured to be a global catalog.
