How do I allow users to ssh and sftp into the System

I just set up a new aix system and I can telnet and ftp into it but cannot ssh or sftp into it.  I want to ultimately disable ftp and enable ssh and sftp.  How do I do this?

How have you actually  setup ssh?  Is ssh running?

That is what I am asking.  I was told it was on the Tool cd but is not so I though it was configuration issues.

Is ssh installed on your server?

Try

ssh 0 and see if it is running.
